Interactivity

Describes the degree to which a user can mold the appearance of a website, application, or collection of data to suit his/her specifications. An archive which contains a collection of texts or maps is not particularly interactive — a more interactive site would allow users are able to retrieve texts which fit precise specifications, and/or cause certain parts of those texts to be highlighted.
