Digital Native

An individual who grew up after the Internet and e-mail became widely available. The idea of the Digital Native is controversial because these individuals are assumed to naturally be more comfortable and knowledgeable with technology than Digital Immigrants. In contrast, many digital humanities scholars argue that the idea of natural sophistication with digital technology is a myth.
